Each new year begins with the promise of great book club conversations, book recommendations from friends, and new favorites from beloved authors.

At Zibby Mag, we also love to celebrate new authors. Last year, we rounded up our most anticipated debut novels of 2023 (check out the lists here and here), and some of those books ended up being celebrity book club selections, New York Times bestsellers, and even some of our personal favorites of the year.
