Authors Who Should Speak at Your School… and What They Said on Zibby’s Podcast

By Zibby Owens

At parents’ night a few weeks ago, I started talking with a fellow mom in my son’s class. She mentioned she was on the school’s event planning committee in the wellness and parenting space and asked if I had any ideas for speakers. She didn’t know what she’d gotten herself into!

I went home and combed through the list of my 1,600+ podcasts to date and selected a group of authors I thought would make fabulous in-person guests and whose books have really stayed with me. They’ve helped me with parenting — or life in general. Then I thought: might as well make this a Zibby Mag article! So here it is.

These authors are fabulous. I actually know if they can come to your — or my — school, but at least you can listen to my podcasts with them or read their books.

Here’s a playlist of all their episodes. Now I’m just waiting to see who the committee picks — and hoping I can avoid officially being on it!
