September Book Club Picks Are Here!

From GMA to Reese, these are the book club picks worth reading this fall.

By Diana Tramontano

It’s that time of the month when book clubs select their favorite September books to read and discuss! This month, we have a wide range of selections including page-turners, lyrical memoirs, feel-good romances, and more.

Celebrities like Reese Witherspoon and Jenna Bush Hager have popular book clubs through their Instagram accounts, @reesesbookclub and @readwithjenna. Some picks are selected by editors or groups of people, including Indie Next titles, which are nominated and voted on by booksellers across the country. There are also many monthly subscription boxes that offer a selection of titles to choose from, like Book of the Month. If Book of the Month isn’t the right fit for you, be sure to check out others like Aardvark Book Club, Once Upon a Book Club, or Literati for children’s books.

Happiness Falls by Angie Kim is a popular pick this month. It was a Book of the Month pick in August and is now a GMA Book Club, Barnes & Noble Book Club, Phenomenal Book Club, and Belletrist Book Club pick for September. Zibby Mag was lucky enough to get a chance to talk to Kim about her writing process and the pressures of publishing a second novel. Read the author spotlight with Kim here, and check out the other picks for this month below!
